His Smile | Haruka Nanase x Reader

Knowing Haruka Nanase since the day you met him, you would see him as an emotionless person who rarely shows a sense of affection for anything or for anyone; you knew how difficult it was for most people to understand what he was thinking behind his emotionless mask.

It was rare for him to show his emotions.

Knowing Haruka Nanase as your official boyfriend, you figured that there are times when he would show them. But you see, most of those affections were always shown directly to you.

Why? Because he loves you as much as you love him.

The one thing that you truly loved about his small affections, was his smile. It was something that you thought was so simple yet could not be described in just mere words.

When he smiles at you, even if it is only for a second, you feel butterflies fluttering in your stomach, you feel your heart attempt to hammer through your chest, and you feel that strange but awfully immense desire to feel that feeling again.

His smile was enough to make you fall in love with Haruka Nanase all over again.

And you ask yourself. Who wouldn't love his small yet beautiful smile?


As Haruka sat there on the couch reading a book, you decided to make a move on him just to see the emotionless man smile.

So you sat next to him and made yourself comfortable beside him by wrapping your arms around his neck and giving him butterfly kisses from his beautiful sharp jaw line, to the crook of his neck, successfully making him blush at your daring move.

"Haru?" you whispered to him as you laid your head on his shoulder and peak at the page he was reading.

You caught Haruka's attention and you notice how embarrassed he looked when he let out a shaky hum in response as he closed the book.

"I love you."

Those three words was all it would take to make Haruka's cheeks glow brighter and send his heart racing faster in each second, skipping a few beats. Every time you said those words to him, he'd always be in a complete mess and it would be very difficult for him to say it back in his embarrassed state.

But even if he couldn't say it, he'd always smile.

You're eyes gleamed in both content and satisfaction as he gave you his signature smile. True to you're word, you fell in love with him again.

You then kissed him on the cheek and chuckled as his blush darkened a bit more. By now, his whole face was flushed.

"I love it when you smile, Haru. It suits you and you look so damn hot," you said, letting out another chuckle. Suddenly, Haruka pouts playfully and you couldn't help but tackle him to the ground.

"Goddamn, you're hot with any expression you make."

Haruka scoffed and pushed himself up to meet your lips with his. You blush as you feel him smirk against the kiss. As you both broke the kiss, he smiled again, but this time, slightly wider. Only making your heart skip a beat or two and blush madly.

Haru noticed this and chuckled. "You're cuter when you smile I guess.." he whispered, wanting to dip down to meet your lips again.

As you noticed the way he stared at your lips longingly, smiling down at him, you shifted your hands through his hair and leaned down to give him what he wanted.

And Haruka Nanase smiled again.
